Dropsauce account and data deletion

Account deletion

Use either method below to request permanent deletion of a Dropsauce account.

Delete from the app

Sign in to Dropsauce, open Profile, select Privacy & Security, and choose Delete account. Confirm the request to permanently delete the account.

Request deletion outside the app

Send an email from the address associated with the account to hello@dropsauce.app with the subject "Delete my Dropsauce account".

We may ask for limited information to verify account ownership before completing the request. Do not send your password.

Data deleted

Deletion removes the Dropsauce account, profile and preference data, cloud recipes, notes, folders, synchronization records, recipe images, imported documents, and import-usage state from active systems.

Content stored only on a device is not remotely accessible to Dropsauce and must be deleted by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.

Limited retention

Limited records may be retained only where required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legal obligations.

Residual encrypted backups expire according to the service provider's backup cycle and are not used for ordinary business purposes.

Deleting the Dropsauce account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. The subscription must be canceled separately through the store used for purchase.
